What an amazing experience we all had together in the quilt room.  I brought with me quilting and healing techniques to share and the Wet’suwet’en quilters were so warm and welcoming.  It is while in this community that I was prompted to learn more about my own family history and culture because of how generously the group shared theirs.  So many quilts were created during the 3 programs I lead in the community.  Many of the first quilts made were gifted at a Headstone Potlatch.  I was honoured to not only attend the ceremony but I was also invited to dance into the feast hall with the quilters and our quilts.
